Fibonacci breakdown
Fibonacci levels are profitable when predicting the prices of any asset. They are universal, and it’s quite easy to use and adjust the levels. Now let’s show you how.
Configure the template
We choose the currency pair EUR/USD and a timeframe from 15s to 1m.
In the lower left-hand corner, click on “Indicators” and select MA (moving average). We assign the following settings to it:
- Period – 120
- Type – Simple
- Color – red
Determine the trend: if the price breaks through the MA from the bottom upwards it is a growing trend. From top to bottom it is a falling trend. Transactions are only registered in the direction of the trend!
Transactions UP on a growing trend
We wait for the beginning of correction (a price rollback downwards). Select the “Tools” tab and click on “Fibo”. We click on the last local minimum (the “bottom”), and then on the already formed maximum just before the correction begins.
If the market forms a new local minimum in the range of 38.2-61.8% and reverses in the direction of the main trend, open a transaction UP during the breakdown or touching of the level of 38.2% (the breakdown is preferable).
In the case of a breakdown or touching of the level of the previous maximum, we conclude another transaction UP on a shorter period.
See how it looks on the graph:
Transactions down on a falling trend
We wait for the beginning of correction (a price rollback upwards). Select the “Tools” tab and click on “Fibo”. We click on the last local maximum (the “peak”), and then on the already formed minimum, right before the correction begins.
If the market forms a new local maximum in the range of 38.2-61.8% and reverses in the direction of the main trend, open a transaction DOWN during the breakdown or touching of the level of 38.2% (the breakdown is preferable).
In the case of a breakdown or touching of the level of the previous minimum, we conclude another transaction DOWN on a shorter period.
Example:
Important! If the new local minimum (maximum) does NOT form in the range of 38.2-61.8%, we do not conclude a transaction! We wait for the next directional movement!
