Interview with trader

This time we decided to make an interview with a less experienced trader, who is in the beginning of his trading path and yet has already got a story to share. We find this story inspirational and a good example of the fact that trading is available to everyone and is not that complicated or twisted as it might seem.

1. What is your name?

My name is Raza Ahmed. I am 18 years old and I live in Germany.

2. What do you do for a living?

I just finished school and I plan to go to college this year to study IT.

3. What made you start trading binary options?

I’ve always been interested in the stock market and when I was 16 years old, I decided to start researching and getting to know more about it. That’s when I found out about binary options. At that time, I just wanted to make a lot of money in a short time – of course, that was just an odd dream, but later on I understood that patience is the key and there still is a way to make some money.

4. What has changed since then?

The long and extensive learning process finally payed off. Just 2 years later I became an ambitious trader and started to make my money through binary options. If everything goes well, I will be able to do this for a living soon.

5. Have you used other platforms, if so what are our strengths and weaknesses if to compare?

I have tried 2 other brokers before I found out about IQ Option and neither of them provided such a stable platform that includes real-time charts with so many analyzing tools. Another reason why I chose IQ Option was because of the low minimum deposit, since I wanted to start off with a small investment. And now that the broker is also regulated by several European institutions, I feel secure and never regretted my choice.

6. How do you like the service in IQ Option, would you change anything?

Overall, I am really satisfied with the service. The support team works fast and is really helpful and the platform is not only reliable and stable, but also very well-designed and modern. If I could change something, I would work on the translations to make it look a bit more professional and to give the whole platform a cleaner look. I am a perfectionist so I just had to mention this.

7. What is your success story?

I didn’t want to invest any money before I turned 18, so I used those 2 years to do some research, study and learn. It was a hard time but now I know it helped me a lot to understand the market better. A few months after my 18th birthday I made my very first deposit and lost it all. But that’s just because on a real account it doesn’t work as easy as on the demo one. One might take too long to place a trade or sometimes just become impatient or greedy. After several losses I gained much more experience and tried out numerous strategies and chart-analyzing methods. It still didn’t go the way I wanted it to, until I found my own trading-technique. After that I was just waiting for the right opportunity to make another deposit and surprisingly exactly at that moment I won some money in the IQ Option joke-competition. In just 5 days, during my final exams, I managed to increase my balance by 200%. That’s how I started trading daily.

8. How did your withdrawals go, was everything fine?

I use Skrill and it worked perfectly fine so far. I always received my money within 2 days.

9.What would you advise to the new traders?

My no. 1 rule is: Never be too greedy!

Whenever I wanted more than my daily goal, I ended up losing more than I would’ve earned on that day. Be patient and don’t let your emotions control you. Free your mind before you start trading and focus on it.
And just know, even the best lose sometimes. It’s all about how you deal with it.
