The Drifter Strategy
How to make Three Screens signals even more profitable? We know how: change the timeframes, add moving averages and… don’t miss the moment!
Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to properly and efficiently trade on the Drifter strategy.
Setting the template
Apply two MA (moving average) indicators to the quotation chart.
The first MA should be set as follows:
- Exponential type,
- Period 10,
- Red color.
The second is configured like this:
- Exponential type,
- Period 114,
- Purple color.
Open three screens with timeframes of 30, 15 and 5 seconds. You need the first two to monitor the signals; deals are concluded on the screen with the 5 seconds timeframe.
Conditions for opening UP deals (CALL options):
- The price graph is above the purple MA on all three screens;
- The red MA is above the purple one on all three screens;
- The price graph is above the red MA on the screen with the 5S timeframe;
- Two or three control candles closed above the red MA on the screen with a 5S timeframe.
- The deal is concluded after a short downward correction.

Conditions for opening DOWN deals (PUT options):
- The price graph is below the purple MA on all three screens;
- The red MA is below the purple one on all three screens;
- The price graph is below the red MA on the screen with the 5S timeframe;
- Two or three control candles closed below the red MA on the screen with a 5S timeframe.
- The deal is concluded after a short upward correction.

The strategy is best suitable for trading the EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/CHF pairs in the daytime.
